Northern Lights Impact is about People living in places where long-term sustainability and impact are needed. Our main focus are our friends of Africa, of Sub-Saharan region, world islands, small world territories. Social and Economic Development is rooted in Education and in the Development of stable Power and Communication Infrastructures.

Northern Lights Impact benefits all stakeholdersInhabitants of these territories. Infrastructure owners of these areas who have rural access, yet weak networks. Our Western Investors to whom we offer short-metered opportunities to counter risk-aversion, a fast in-and –out venue and a serene peace of mind to increase confidence and new deals. Emerging Governments who like to check-off deployed projects that are doable in the short -term to raise the country’s status. Banking Institutions in need for safety when for debt finance.  Western Corporations in need for better infrastructures as reassurance to headway their emerging market strategy.

PLAN

To Digitize our B2B Telecom Clients’ On and Off-Grid Fixed Power Assets while upgrading their Power sites to Solar-backed Energy. We transform old-fuel gobbling-generators and poor networks into Profitability and Optimized Assets driven by the latest technology in Renewables, Efficient power and I-IOT.

PORTFOLIO

Our projects are de-centralized energy infrastructures focused on the most impoverished areas to allow for both Light and Communication in a geographically leveraged way.  Northern Lights Impact brings a Renewable model through mini-grids for lighting, communication, business and education use. By securing telecom and other explosive sectors in the areas with significant energy needs as anchor tenants and contractually guaranteed customers, we are working to make it profitable for smaller-scale energy projects to bring electricity to rural parts of the developing world of our focus.

INVESTMENTS

With $80 million potential portfolio in power projects of which 65% representative of the Sub-Saharan Africa, Northern Lights Impact seeks to expand its model to electrify 1,000 projects in the next 3 years through its Northern Lights Impact Rural Development Initiative. The initiative will initially target projects raised through telecom operators’ urgent needs for stronger grid and further rural penetration.  Here, fewer than 10 percent of rural households are connected to the national grid. $80M potential portfolio of projects driven by B2B clients’ demand for sustainable impact with high efficiency and profitability.
