Job Description: We are seeking a Portfolio Operating Partner to join our dynamic team at Powerstorm Holdings. This role offers the opportunity to leverage your background in portfolio management, M&A, and corporate strategy in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Management: Oversee a diverse portfolio of companies, with a focus on power & alternative energy and telecom & fiber. Apply your deep understanding of investment strategies and financial markets to maximize returns.
Business Development: Build relationships with other companies and investors, and develop and implement growth strategies for the companies in our portfolio.
Strategic Planning and Implementation: Lead operational and value creation initiatives, guiding strategic planning and execution to drive business growth.
Deal Structuring and Negotiation: Utilize your expertise in evaluating potential investment opportunities to research and select companies for our portfolio. You will play a key role in structuring deals, managing these assets, and ensuring their long-term success.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, with a preference for those with an MBA.
At least 5 years of experience in portfolio management and M&A, with a proven track record in a global investment or holdings company.
Strong understanding of financial markets and investment strategies.
Excellent negotiation and strategic thinking skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Strong writing skills, with experience in drafting and reviewing contracts, writing proposals, and preparing investment reports.
Commitment to promoting sustainability, human rights, and democracy, and addressing socio-economic inequalities and corruption.
